Sambac ( Green Floral) ~ Sambac unfolds with an energetic burst of vibrant lime and the bright, invigorating Japanese yuzu, whose zesty, slightly floral citrus aroma offers a fresh, green kick of energy.  These citrus notes bring a joyful, uplifting sensation that immediately opens the senses.  The heart of Sambac reveals the lush, tropical warmth of pikaki (also know as sambac jasmine), a flower known fore its delicate yet potent fragrance.  In Hawaii, pikaki is synonymous with beauty and celebration, often used in leis and as a symbol of love.  The jasmine sambac, revered in India as the "heart of India", offers a sweet and green, slightly creamy floral aroma that is intoxicating, creating an aura of mystery and grace.  As the fragrance unfolds, it transitions into a base of subtle, earthy forest balsams and coniferous notes, adding a grounding depth to the fresh floral and citrus top nots.  The forest oils in Sambac incorporate Shinrin-yoku, Japan's practice of "forest bathing" where the calming embrace of trees nurtures your soul and restores a sense of inner peace.  Together, these contrasting elements create a fragrance that is both fresh and joyful, perfectly balanced with an underlying depth that brings peace and serenity.promoting a deep sense of connection with nature's calming energy and restorative tranquility. 

Jane's inspiration: Sambac was inspired during a transformative experience on assignment at the Four Seasons Lanai, where she had the priviledge of spending time at both of the island's luxurious properties - the beachside Four Seasons Resort Lanai and the serene upcountry Senei Lanai.  It was in this perfect blend of sun, sea, and forest that she was inspired to create Sambac mixing the lively, tropical florals of the beach with the deep, tranquil notes of the island's upcountry forests.  The fragrance embodies the harmony she felt between these two worlds - where the fresh floral scent of pikaki jasmine meets the grounding, green embrace of Balsam and coniferous woods.  She was also delighted to invoke the essence of Shinrin-yoku with the use of these special forest oils, Japan's practice of "forest bathing" promoting a deep sense of connection with nature's calming energy and restorative tranquility. 

Chakra (Energy Center): The ingredients of Sambac are known to support the Heart Chakra - the energy center that governs love, compassion and self-care.  So if you are consirding the perfume oil roll-on, we suggest pairing it with the 7 carat garnet gemstone.  Garnet is known to amplify the energy of love, emotional balance and self-care, perfectly complementing the powerful properties of the plant oils in the formula.
